The ordinance of the Holly Communion is a regular memorial and thanksgiving service in which we remember the Lord’s death set forth by means of the elements for the confirmation of our faith and for spiritual nourishment, and growth in Christ for the renewal of consecration and for a high and zeal of Our Communion with Christ and each other in remembrance of his suffering and death.
